☆ Downtempo ain't dead. And neither is midtempo, for that matter. Denver's Human Agency is seeing to that. The duo of Biorhythm (Ryan Kjos) and Seamus Moore is revisiting a slice of early 2000's, post-IDM goodness. Legendary producer Four Tet released "She Moves She" way back when, and the Agency has decided to give it a little makeover. Taking the cerebral think-piece and adding a little tribal flair to the glitched out Andrew Bird-style violin pizzicato, this track moves from head-nodder to booty-shaker. Excising some of the glitch allows "She Moves Me" to move herself into the contemporary dance ethos, without sacrificing the spark that set off the original ☆
